DESCRIPTION Piston pumps are used in heat treatment systems with very dense products, such as fruits and vegetables. An example is fruit or tomato purees and concentrates. The cooling system works by means of water, which in turn must be connected to oil and pumping pistons for operation. The gentle handling of products by the Marlen twin-piston design, the precise metered flow and constant pressure without slip insures the highest quality end product attainable. The unit has 6-1/2´ (166mm) diameter piston with 10´ stroke (250mm). Maximum capacity 12000Lbs/Hr (5454 kilos/hour) The product outlet diameter is 4´ (100 mm) at a maximum pressure of 500psi (34bar).
