DESCRIPTION WORKING MEASUREMENTS: Useful tape width: 55 cm Number of spirals: 18 Spiral diameter: 4.20 m approx. Height of product entry: 1.20 m Height of product exit: 3.70 m Technical description: DRUM: It is the element in charge of transmitting the movement to the belt, it is built by stainless steel profiles welded to a base ring formed a kind of cage. MAIN STRUCTURE: It is the part of the tunnel that supports the conveyor belt (through an auxiliary structure) and the drum (through the bearings). It is built with folded and welded stainless steel plate profiles. AUXILIARY STRUCTURE: It supports the belt in its movement. To avoid metal-to-metal contact, it is covered with a special high density polyethylene profile. DRUM SUPPORTS: The lower supports have two main functions: centering the drum and supporting its weight. In the upper part, other supports are placed whose mission is exclusively to collaborate in the centering of the drum. EVAPORATOR: A circular evaporator located at the bottom of the drum is used, which results in an important space saving and in a horizontal air circulation without dead spaces. FANS: Fans are placed at the top and at the bottom with the discharge directed towards the inside of the evaporator so that the air flows through the evaporator towards the product. The fans will be sized so that the air velocity, both through the evaporator and through the product, is adequate. TRACTION: Consists of an electric motor-reducer of adequate power, with previously calculated reduction ratio, so that the speed of the drum and therefore of the belt are suitable. SPEED VARIATION EQUIPMENT: This consists of a frequency variator that, by varying the power supply frequency to the preset electric motor drive (between 20 Hz. and 60 Hz.), modifies its speed and therefore the output speed of the reducer, which allows us an appropriate retention time in each case. CONTROL PANEL AND MANEUVERING BOARD: The control panel includes the electrical and maneuvering elements of the Tunnel. In its front panel there are the general maneuvering controls, as well as a synoptic of operation and with the indications of the safety and alarms indicated with a luminous signal. Inside are the control elements, frequency variator with potentiometer, electronic starters for fans and other equipment protection elements.
