DESCRIPTION The vertical centrifuge is the last mechanical step in the extraction of olive oil. It is used to remove water and residual impurities from the horizontal decanter. GEA equipment incorporates the most advanced technology. The self-cleaning models reduce downtime and maintenance costs to a minimum, while handling the oil with the utmost care. GEA centrifuges are equipped with self-sliding plate type drum, suitable for solid-liquid separation (oil clarification) or for the separation of mixed liquids (oil purification).
