DESCRIPTION The defrosting tank is a machine mainly used to assist in the processing of frozen fish or cephalopods. It is a machine which, once filled with water and heated, defrosts the product submerged inside by means of the steam coil incorporated in it. It is made entirely of AISI 316 stainless steel and consists of: - A watertight water tank: Steam heating tank, insulated with polyurethane. - Perforated coil with Ø 6 mm holes for steam outlet. - Agitator - Cleaning flap for access to the inside of the tank. The action of the agitator, consisting of an electric motor coupled to a propeller, ensures continuous circulation of the water, thus achieving: - A higher and more homogeneous water temperature. - Greater use of the calorific energy of the steam. - Greater heat exchange with the frozen product.
