DESCRIPTION WP 300 SMI WRAP-AROUND CASEPACKER Automatic machine to pack metal or glass containers in corrugated cardboard boxes and/or trays without film. It is suitable for many and various formats containers of different capacities and achieves a speed from 30 packs per minute, depending on the product kind and the selected format. The packaging process takes place in continuous motion in the following phases. In the pack formation zone, products are grouped in the desired pattern by means of an electronic device and are placed upon a blank made from corrugated cardboard. In the case/tray forming section, the blank edges get folded and glued by hot-melt.
