DESCRIPTION Autoclaves are used for the sterilization of packaged products that need to reach high temperatures (+100ºC) for the elimination or inactivation of pathogenic microorganisms. Rotary autoclaves: they are used to sterilize products that present greater difficulties in heat transmission. Examples are vegetables in grains, grated or diced, and beverages such as milkshakes, teas, coffees or evaporated milk. In this type, the basket rotates on itself inside the autoclave, stirring the contents and preventing the pieces closest to the sides of the pot from roasting.
